Challenge Process
To challenge a BC or an Inter-Provincial trade certification the following steps must be completed:
- Provide signed documentation from current and past employers. This is required to verify the hours you have worked and the tasks / duties completed in the trade.
- Pay the fee required to process your completed and signed challenge application.
- Once your application is approved, you may write the trade-specific Certificate of Qualification or Inter-Provincial (IP) exam. A pass mark of 70% or higher is required.
